[Bitpim-devel] Increasing baud rate?

Phone: sanyo 8100
OS: Linux 2.4.20

Is there a reason that the baud rate must be set at 38400?  When I use the 
phone for PPP connections, it will happily run at 203400; can we use that for 
data transfer, too?
