[Bitpim-devel] DM Mode?

I found out that on my lg vx10, I have to go into service mode to enable DM
Mode.  I looked around for DM Mode information when I saw the phonebook init
message saying it couldn't enter DM.  

Can you briefly explain what DM mode is?
