I tried bitpim years ago to try to get data (pictures/contact list etc...) out of a Motorola E815. It didn't work even after entering the phone info by hand. Bitpim never recognized the phone. Turns out that the E815 is one of the most crippled phones (by Verizon) ever sold. What motorola designed was supposed to be top of the line for the time, but in order for Verizon to extract more money from the users, features were disabled or crippled right and left. Unfortunately, in my case I couldn't even see the phone as a file system. I would suggest you copy files from the phone FS directly (assuming this is possible and not disabled somehow). I presume you use Linux (or is bitpim available for windows?) You should be able to mount the phone FS and copy the files that way. > -Keith Good luck. Augustine |
