Hello, I have an issue with interpreting SMS messages received on my phone (LG-VX11000, also known as the enV Touch). When I view a message through BitPim, occasionally they appear (in the memo section) as a bunch of alt-code symbols and other gibberish (e.g. &X/@e0\MFK when the message was "Maybe earlier.") This seems to occur when the sender is using a certain Android smartphone (i.e, some Android messages come through fine, some don't), though what model(s) I am not sure. Oddly enough, the subject line above the memo comes out in normal English, but the subject line is already significantly reduced to be of any use in recall. All messages from non-Android users seem to come out in clear English. Please let me know if any other information would be of use. Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided. Jake |
