Ryan, I can't speak for the LGIP-430N, but my sad experience with the LG VX-8500 might be instructive. For my VX-8500, I found that most of the OEM cables were "Power Only" and wouldn't transfer data. CHECK THE CABLE on a known (other) device to be sure that it's transferring data. I never did get Bitpim to work and finally traded the phone in on a Droid. Happy now! BTW, if the LGIP-430N takes an SD card (mine took the micro), you might be able to xfer the photos that way.
