Hi everyone. I am on Mac OS X 10.6.5 (macbook pro), running bitpim 1.0.7. A friend of mine gave me his sprint SPH-A840 with hopes of me being able to retrieve some valuable stuff off of it (photos, audio recorings)... I was able to connect to the phone via /dev/cu.wwan, and attempted to get all of the data from the phone. I tried doing this about 3 times, and each time I got an error: > Device needs attention - SPH-A840 on /dev/cu.wwan > SPH-A840 on /dev/cu.wwan: The phone is not responding while manipulating the > phonebook. The entire log is at: http://collinatorstudios.com/www/bitpim_log.txt My question is, if the rest of the data is not retrievable, it seems that I should at least be able to access the many jpeg images that the log shows it successfully got and renamed... However, I am unable to locate where any of these files are on my system. If I look in ~/.bitpim-files, I see: .bitpim-files/ ├── bitpim.db ├── cache │ └── index.idx ├── ringer │ └── rowid └── wallpaper └── rowid Which I am assuming means the actual data is being stored in a database-- Though in bitpim itself, going into BitPim > Phone > Media > images or camera, I see nothing.. It's all blank. However, the PhoneBook is full of data-- it just seems that the media stuff is not showing up for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Patrick J.
