[BitPim-devel] Windows 9x support

I need to know the exact version that Windows 9x was "officially" dropped from BitPim development. I need to use Windows 98 Second Edition and am not sure which version to use. 

Also, how do I find out what the earliest version a certain phone (LG VX6100) was supported? Thanks!
