#33 Lose Data Unless Leave Field

This defect is the cause of an old defect (#674859)
that was fixed by a work-around. When you enter data
into a field and immediately select something such as:
- Edit Mode in the Edit Menu
- an arrow button to go to another record

You will get a prompt asking if you want the changes
saved. Selecting yes will show the data saving metre
(i.e., the green bars), but the data will revert to
what it was before. I feel this is a substantial
problem, and is especially problematic if one has
clicked on an arrow to go to another record, as they
won't immediately notice the lack of change.

To make sure one's changes are recorded, you must leave
the data field by clicking elsewhere in the data
window, or select Apply Changes in the Edit menu.
