BioTux is a 2D platformer in it's early stages of development, being written as a clone of SuperTux and the New Super Mario Bros. It uses the Clanlib libraries and will always be free and Open Source. Developers are needed. See http:/biotuxdev.org.

Features

  • First stable release targeted at New Year's Day of the following year. (2011)
  • Swimming will be implemented.
  • Attack sequences, (toboggan for one) and Tux can finally crawl, rather than drop, down a pipe.
  • Hopefully far more animation than in SuperTux, wavy grass and all.

  • Uh, sorry about the thumbs up, I know it's my project, I just needed to vote to be able to review: (you are only allowed 250 characters for the main description) I just want everyone to know that at times, this project can be organized VERY messily. For one, I accidently uploaded a file with about 4000 files in it and SourceForge straightway found all the files and put them on the frontpage. TY, NinjaNumberNine
