Read Me

BioinfoLib (also called BIOS) is the basic set of software modules of BIOINFO-C.

BIOINFO-C consists of a set of basic software modules, a database web
application framework and a web interface for managing, manipulating
and analyzing biological sequences.

Installation Requirements
- Linux (the code ran originally on SGI IRIX as well as SUN Solaris, it will probably run on most UNIX systems)
- Apache webserver (it ran also on Netscape webserver originally)
- gcc  (C-compiler; it also compiled with SGI and SUN originally)
- java
- postgres (oracle was also supported)
