I have had to skip somewhat more than 6 files because they are password protected, and the archive is only 50% unpacked. Is this an error in making up the zipped archive? It seems inappropriate to include passworded files in a publicly available archive, unless the passwords are made available and the files released for public use.
It certainly makes unpacking the archive difficult.
Even more concern is raised by the structure of the archive, which includes some files which are "read only, or system" and cause warning messages to pop up, delaying unpacking of the archive and requiring repeated user interaction.
Has the creator of the archive validated the packages being delivered by the mirrors to assure they contain no malware? I note no reference to, or check for a control over the archive, and recall that file size, hash and CRC are usually employed to prevent the distribution of malware as part of published and mirrored archives. Failure to include such protections is ill advised, and will discourage reasonably security conscious users from downloading the archive.

Rob, there honestly should not be a password for the zip file. I originally created the zip file with a simple call from the shell with the zip utility. I suspect that there is a problem with WinRAR, as I have had reports from various individuals about problems with it. I continue to be able to unzip the file myself. However ...
Jim, could you recommend to me how to go about setting up the md5 hash for the file? I am unfamiliar with the release system on Sourceforge. The mirrors might be corrupting the files, but that seems rather peculiar and I have never seen this before (a first time for everything?). I would appreciate your support.

what is the password for the ZIP file ?
ok, I could skip that file and extract the rest.
