Yes, I just thought that making it possible to do it programatically you
could update your repository automatically without spending much time and
effort.

Basically it would be a subclass of SOAP server class that I have already
developed and made available in the PHP Classes site.  The subclass would
figure what you are asking from the request data parsed by the SOAP server
base class and generate a response.
