Shouldn't necessarily be free, but than I consider those kinds of
applications as great candidates for free stuff. "Not free" as far as I am
concerned are installation specific requirements for security, etc. Standard
applications with little modification should be available.

It is, and I don't think it should be drawn. If someone is selling a forum,
that someone else needs and they want to buy it, great!
