And about time too!
This release fixes a couple of major bugs: UTF8 LDAP bind problems with Perl 5.6+, and a very silly bug with search filters.
This is the last version of Fljud designed for Jabberd 1.4. It works (imperfectly) with Jabberd2 too.
Mainly bugfixes. Names like "O'Neil" in search results no longer crash Fljud (XML attributes were not being escaped properly), and browsing configuration is much better.
I've added some code stupidly missing from 0.1, so Fljud can use encrypted LDAP connections now.
If you want your Jabber user directory to use LDAP directly, try this. Still rather rough at the moment, but it pretty much works. Documentation is rather poor and error codes aren't sent properly, but searching and registering work, including LDAP updates. Browsing *might* work, but I've not tested it enough yet.
I've uploaded version 0.3 of Fingerbob. A bit rough, but it works well.
