in klondike and in montana, when there are no more legal plays, the program doesn't tell you this. even a good player might not recognize this fact immediately. each player should be informed. having said this, the default here should not be that another play cannot happen, but that at the moment there are no legal plays remaining. the choice on whether to backtrack to previous plays or start a new game should rest with the player
