First Release

I would like to announce the first release of a computer football simulation based on Big Play Football.

If you are running Windows, simply download the binary package (i.e. the .zip file), and extract all the files to a new directory. This was built and tested on NT 4.0; I expect it should work on any 32-bit version of Windows. To run it, bring up a console window, go to the subdirectory called 'bpfbin' and type 'BPFConsole'. You should see a list of teams. Pick one as home, one as away, and the game will rush past...hopefully you've set a big enough buffer to scroll back and look at what happened. :-) ... read more
