Daniel, Thank you. You can also use the -Djetty.overrideWebXml to alter the properties with the executable jar. See [1]. Another option would to use the tar.gz deployer that has the configuration unpacked. I hadn't noted the serial query execution. In this case, the thread pool size may not have an affect. You may want to review the queries to see why they may be causing heap pressure. For example, are there distinct or order by clauses in the queries that are causing the issues.
