[Bigdata-developers] Journal compatibility 1.5.3 vs 2.0.0

I was wondering what’s the level of compatibility for the Journal file between 1.5.3 and 2.0.0. I did a small check and it seems like once a journal is opened with 2.0.0 it’s no longer compatible with 1.5.3. 
Is this correct? Thanks.
