Joel, Thank you. The default executable jar uses an internal jetty configuration that does not restrict access to the end points. You can deploy it using a customized jetty configuration to control end-point access either by creating a custom jetty.xml and passing it via -DjettyXml=/path/to/your file or deploying it within another jetty instance or tomcat web app container.
