[Bigdata-developers] using sentry with bigdata

Hi

at Syapse we are using sentry to co-ordinate our error logging and management

I notice that there is a SentryAppender for log4j available 
https://github.com/getsentry/raven-java/tree/master/raven-log4j

I am wondering if anyone has war stories about successful, or less than successful, use of such an approach - please share either on- or off- list.
