[Bigdata-developers] Merging RDR back to 1.3.0.

I would like to merge the RDR branch back into the 1.3.0 development and maintenance branch in preparation for a 1.3.1 release.  

Can anyone who is NOT ready for that merge speak up?  If I do not hear otherwise, I will get this done over the next few days.
