In the process of working on the details window bug I found that I did not always get the match in auctioninfo::parseaucinfo() that I expected. With two auctions, that I was using to test and with the latest CVS code, I was missing information (printed with DEBUGGING=3) that was in the web pages. In one auction the high bidder's rating was missing and in the other the current price was missing. In this auction the high bidder is failed to be parsed out. auction 3429700582 desc INTEL Pentium III 600Mhz SECC2 CPU SL3JM ends 0 mybid 0.00 0 endauction In this auction the price is failed to be parsed out. auction 2752943073 desc Seagate Barracuda 9LP 9.1GB Ultra Wide *BUY* ends 1063836780 mybid 0.00 0 endauction I was able to see that the reason this auction does not see the price is because when ReturnBidVarNum() is called from auctioninfo::parseaucinfo() it is passed " Price:" (notice the leading space). I thought it might be a bug in StripHtmlTags(), StripAndTab(), strip_commas() or strip_newlines but I was not able to find the bug. Thought someone else might have more experience looking / debugging these functions. Also, what is the "First Bid" field in DetailsWindow supposed to show? Trying different auctions, I was not able to get it to populate. I left the code for that field alone, since I did not understand what it was supposed to do.
