Would it be possible to add a feature, whereby a snipe
bid is only placed on an auction, if a previous auction
is lost ?? The reason for this is best described by
example.
I'm looking to buy a pair of CPUs for my computer. At
the moment, there are 3 suitable CPUs on eBay. Clearly
I don't want to place snipe bids on all 3, since I
might win all 3, when I only want two. However, if I
loose the first two auctions, I'd like to bid on the
next one.
So how about allowing a bid to be placed, conditional
on another bid being lost ?
Even better if the conditions could be expanded to
allow a logical AND and ORs. This would be useful if
you wanted say 4 of something, with 10 suitable
auctions. But even allowing bids to be conditional on
one other auctino would be a big step forward.

A good idea; for the future though. Need to get some of the
underlying stuff more solid. If you wanna try hacking on it
go ahead :) (BTW, someone mentioned this in the forums in
this thread:

I like the idea of grouping auctions and the possibly
applying some specific logic to the group.

I came here to request this same feature. This would be
really convenient.

I noticed that http://www.auctionblitz.com/ have
implemented this feature as follows:
> Groups similar auctions into "Bins" on which AuctionBlitz will
> stop placing your bids as soon as you win one of the
> auctions in the Bin
I think this would be the most straightforward model.

any steps forward on this topic? I think it's a very
important feature to come. Is it that complicated?
Unfortunately I am no C programmer so I can't help :-/

Basically I haven't had the time. I think it's important
too, but so is finishing my degree and working full-time.

okay I can see that... can we do anything about it? Hmmm...
what's bidwatcher written in? C++?
