https://sourceforge.net/p/bibutils/home/biblatex2xml/ includes these specifications:

-a, --add-refcount add "_#", where # is reference count to reference id ... -as, --asis specify file of names that shouldn't be mangled

Output from biblatex2xml -h, however, shows:

-a, --asis specify file of names that shouldn't be mangled

So which of these is correct?

-as/--asis is correct. The help message is fixed in version 4.16 (just uploaded).
