#20 `firstfullname` option does not work with biblatex version 3.4 (may 14, 2016)
When compiling the attached file (latex mwe), I get:
! Illegal parameter number in definition of \blx@defformat@d.
The faulty part of the file is \usepackage[style=authortitle-dw, firstfullname]{biblatex}.
Using TexLive version 2016.20160520-1 on debian.

Since biblatex-dw 1.7(beta) the option 'firstfullname' is deprecated. Try 'citeauthorname=firstfull' instead.

biblatex-dw version is 1.6a in Debian testing right now. I have to wait for it to be updated.

I did not hear about 1.7 beta yet. As far as I know, biblatex-dw is incompatible with biblatex >= 3.0 (?). So for optimal results with biblatex-dw, you have to downgrade biblatex or wait until biblatex-dw can cope with the new biblatex (which will take some time, if it is ever going to happen).
biblatex-dw (beta) is just the files in the sourceforge repository, there are no beta releases. The next version will probably take some time since some changes in biblatex 3 are not backwards compatible. It should not be too difficult to cope with these changes, but the maintainer’s time is short at the moment. There is no release plan, but I will definitely have no time before end of August to release a new version.
Should be fixed in 1.7a
