Category: File I/O Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Fischlin Andreas (afischlin) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: What to do with ISI WOS "Some could not be parsed" Initial Comment: BibDesk Version 1.4 (1745) (latest nightly of 1.Feb.2010) doing a ISI WOS search. The statust string reads: 0 publications in "Web of Science SCI" search group. There were 83 matches. Some could not be parsed." What is the problem? BibDesk bug or ISI WOS bug? How can I figure out what is going on and what I could do about this, e.g. in case it is a ISI WOS issue, then I would like to file a complaint by giving them a log of what BibDesk received. BTW, I was searching using this string: ts="larch bud moth" OR ts="larch budmoth" OR ts="Zeiraphera diniana" and if I do the same search in the browser, it does work of course. Topic=("larch bud moth") OR Topic=("larch budmoth") OR Topic=("Zeiraphera diniana") Timespan=All Years. Databases=SCI-EXPANDED, SSCI, A&HCI, CPCI-S, CPCI-SSH, IC, CCR-EXPANDED. Then it retrieves 87 references. Thanks for any advice, Andreas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=497423&aid=2943801&group_id=61487 |
