sorry, but i am totally unable to grasp what this project is about.
in which way does it differ from local history plus a version control plugin?
i came here while looking for something that basically removes the limitations of time and size and number of lines from local history, allowing me to store my local changes unlimited* -- is this project something like that?
*because is use code in a svn repo i have only read rights, but i don't want to copy that whole repo in my own repo and thus cut off myself from any further development.
and with subclipse i cannot have two repos in one project.
Have you heard of the stand alone application called "Beyond Compare"? (http://www.scootersoftware.com/)
It is a very nice file and folder comparison tool. The Beyond CVS plug-in allows users to compare files and folders using Beyond Compare instead of the default Eclipse comparison tool. It also lets users compare revisions of a file stored in CVS or SVN using Beyond Compare.
And lastly, it has support for opening WinSCP and Putty (two other stand alone tools) from inside Eclipse.
So no, this plug-in doesn't do what you are hoping for.
