Betty is a versatile and configurable betting Web site that you can install in your own network. It enables you to make friendly bets / forecasts between colleagues or friends.

First of all, there is NO BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY between this version and the previous ones (thus the 1.0.0 tagging). See the release notes for more details.
Nevertheless, this release introduces a brand new Web interface dedicated to the Betty administrator, allowing you to create/modify/delete almost any item in a championship definition (even the championship itself). It is based on the Google Web toolkit, as a practice exercise for me (see the credits on the home page).
A new championship has also been introduced, dedicated to the European Rugby fans: the 6 Nations Rugby tournament.
In addition, the common Flex user interface has been slightly simplified, and I now use the SDK v3.2 to build it.... read more

This is a minor release. It adds support for the new version of the JBoss Application Server (4.2.3), and upgrades the cURL and Wget Win32 executables.
In addition, two championship configurations are upgraded: the FIA Formula 1 2008 and the US presidential election 2008.

The UEFA Euro 2008 is now closed, and I hope you enjoyed it with the Betty server.
It's time for me to release all bug fixes and improvements I made to the Betty project during the championship.
The most prominent additions are:
* a new "Statistics" tab in the event view of the Flash UI (graphical display of bets distribution)
* Two RSS feeds, one for the betters (updates) and one for the administrators (audit)
* A new championship sample (US presidential election 2008), which demonstrates another use of Betty
* The Windows installation wizard now handles all languages supported by InnoSetup
* The Betty manual has been augmented ("Adding a new language")... read more

Beside some bug fixes and minor enhancements, the most notable change is the addition of a new Windows installer WITH bundled JBoss AS, for easier use. The documentation has also been improved.

After almost a 3-month work of reviewing all details of this project, I finally make it available to the community. Hope someone would find it interesting for his/her own needs, whenever in playing with it, or using the sources. Enjoy!
