It's getting there.... Big thanks and shout out to the people over at PHP-Nuke for the content management system.
Things to look for or keep an eye out for are a new release of benson with major improvements. Documentation on the website, and generally good ole fashioned butt kicking house cleaning.
Feedback is always appreciated, and almost always answered. :)
The new and improved Benson Distributed Monitoring system is ready for general consumption. Complete with shiny brand new networking code. :-P
This is a working release of the Benson Distributed Monitoring System. This includes, access control lists, memory leak fixes, better alert suppression management, and a host of other goodies. Soon, SSL support will be groovy. Contact me for more details.

Contact me for details. Things are coming along nicely, the MICO and openssl portions are working together. The install shield is ready to rock for the mico/ssl install, and Benson is almost ready to go as an NT service, and it's very own install shield.
Benson 2.0 is coming along nicely. Perl exceptions, modules, extended configuration information, and the beginnings of SSL access control is in the works. Also, sheds the need for a name service, and implementation repository. Looking for help, input, or flames. Let me know if you are using this, and you think it sucks, it's great, or it needs some work.

This will be the base of operations. No "all you base are belong to us" jokes, please. :)
