#5 Connection timeout

The mail server that I connect to is REALLY slow. Currently,
the mdr call isDataPending with a timeout of 6000000. This
however, is not long enough for my connection. If I leave the
argument blank, a connection will eventually be made to my
site. This should probably be configurable in the settings.

It does not NEED to be configurable, but if there truly is a
problem, it will never time out, so maybe, instead of a
configuration option, a way of cancelling the receive requests be
added. If using a status dialog, a cancel button could be used, but
if not, maybe a menu option on the deskbar replicant.
