#32 Trash Empty

Hi, NathanW,

I just decided to send this to you. I made a script or
something. I
am not quite sure what I did. It just worked.

I like using Alex's filter to move my spam to a trash
folder in my
inbox, and I made a link to that Trash folder for the mail
icon in the
deskbar.

I check to see what my spam is there, in case the spam
filter made
a mistake. What I did NOT like, was having to open the Trash
folder,
and manually delete each spam e-mail. So, using the EmptyTrash
program
(at BeBits) as a guide, and learning the
"rm" command from some Tip Server tip, I added a line and
removed the <
empty desktop trash> lines. I put this program in the mail
menu links
folder so that it shows up when I right click the mail icon.
I named the script "Trash Empty" so that it would show up
next to
the "Trash" link in the icon menu. (the menu is in
alphabetical order).
Anyway, I'll probably post something on the sourceforge
page about
this. I just think it is darn handy, and would like to see it
in the
next release.
