#204 Failure to read symbolic link to people file

As I have more than one version of beos on my computer I like
to keep my people and mail file on a data partition. This
means that I can access the same mail and people from whatever
version of BeOS I'm in and it is also provides protection for
my data. The mail daemon will access mail file through a
symbolic link, but not the people file. There appears to be no
way of directing the email client to the people file. Could
this be changed in a future version?
