Better Extension for RPM (beer) is now released!

The first "Better Extension for RPM" (beer) utility release contains the first alpha version of the dependency resolving and chroot installation tool.

The current release parses YUM configuration files in /etc/yum.repos.d/ to get enabled repositories information, resolves dependencies and then installs user requested package(s) to chroot (/var/beer/root by default). Beer uses package caching, so that the installation of another chroot is much faster.

Beer is also able to run commands directly in the installed chroot (e.g. "beer run ls"), because it mounts all important mountpoints, chroots and executes a given command in the chroot.
