To be honest, I don't know. :) I haven't used BEEPy in so long I'm not
sure how much I kept the non-twisted code in step with the twisted code.
Originally you could use it without twisted just fine, but I'm not
certain any more.

There have been a couple of people who've wanted to use BEEPy without
twisted, so I'll see what I can do to make it possible if it isn't
already.
