Well for Greek alphabet, I can't figure out the login behind the conversion. However, there is an ISO standard that we use in order to convert the greek characters in latin ones for passports and so on. You can find an official converter here. This kind of conversion might be useful but it is not a one to one matching. If this not possible to do, please explain how do you match numbers to letters for latin and I will try to do something similar for Greek. :-)

Hello! That plugin uses latin1 chatacters like 'a' and transfrom it in '4', 'z' in '2' and so ... To use also unicode characters, like for example Greek ones, I need to know how to convert letters in numbers...

It is a good news. Maybe there are some corrupted files in the installed app. You cam copy the dll from portable to installed folder (only dll or exe) and see if it works...

Following the text from the dump file, I replaced the file msvcp140.dll with the old one: msvcp100.dll and everything is back to normal.

Besides the Send file and Send folder button, the same behavior occurs when: 1 - When I try to save the log by pressing the respective button 2 - When I try to browse the folder in the Plugin Manager window 3 - When I try to browse the path in the Select language window 4 - When I try to select the icon folder in the Select icon theme window 5 - When I try to open the Dictionary window 6 - When I try to open the Select beep file... I don't know if I am forgetting something I hope you can fix this...

I am using Windows 11 and as antivirus I am using the Defender. There is no message in the Defender for BeeBEEP. I tried to check if the portable version can work and it works properly until the installed version is fixed. It happened suddenly and 10 minutes ago a second PC that I have in the same LAN it produces the same problem.

Hello. Please disable the option in Settings - Notification - Always open chat on new message. When a new window is created, the focus switch on new window. You can check the option "Raise previously opened chat on new message" instead.

Hello to you! Probably the conversation is still visible in the BeeBEEP of the other user of the chat (in his/her pc). There is also a file called beebeep.bak in "Data Folder" (see the FAQ). You can close BeeBEEP. Copy beebeep.bak in beebeep.dat file and restart BeeBEEP. If you are lucky the chat is still there.

Va creato un file beebeep.rc ad hoc in modo che BeeBEEP accetti connessioni multiple da e per singolo host. "You can trust BeeBEEP" Sneaking communication outside of the LAN is itself a violation of trust. Disable all Internet communications by default. When the program starts for the first time, ask the user for permission to connect to the beebeep.net server to check for updates and to connect to the Google server to send some basic data (and specify exactly what data will be sent). You can't expect users to trust you if you're sneaking Internet communication instead of asking permission.

What lind of data it send over internet: - its version - the number 1 - part of tbe ip is obscured (i need only to know which country but, it does not work anymore. do you mean change the sound when a new notification comes in?, you can go to "Settings" > "Notifications" > "select beep file..." > then select the file you want, if you want to listen to it press "Play Beep"

Trying to use screen share again, BeeBeep now always crashes, and it does so even though I gave it permission for Screen recording and Accessibility. I'm on macOS 15.7.1 (Sequoia).

There is not a security requirements specification document. BeeBEEP needs a LAN (Wifi or cabled) to work. Messages are encrypted and delivered directly to the recipient, without intermediaries, through one of the block encryption algorithms safest in the world: BeeBEEP uses Rijndael, known by many as AES, with a random 256-bit key generated for every single point-to-point connection that is made.

Hello, there is a good suggestion, today i work with a legacy system, and the broadcast messages don't work on modern O.S, i implemented the beebeep for internal communication and if it were possible to use it to send messages from the legacy system to users, that would be fine

BeeBEEP has a simple backup in the file beebeep.bak in your data folder https://www.beebeep.net/faq#faq6 * You have to open that folder and quit BeeBEEP. * Rename beebeep.dat in beebeep.dat.ori * Rename beebeep.bak in beebeep.dat * Restart BeeBEEP If you are lucky you can find the deleted chat with all the messages. If not... restore the previous file, after you quit BeeBEEP (it is very important this step)

Vedere altre persone offline quando non lo sono, può dipendere da più fattori. Il più probabile è che non si sia creata una connessione tra i due pc. Hello! When member is removed from a gruoup or a member leave a group, that group finished in the "blocked chats" list. I think you have to remove that group from the list also. Check it in "Settings" - "Chats" - "Blocked chats..."

Credo che tu debba rimuovere l'utente dai gruppi, editando il gruppo. Vai sulla lista dei gruppi, pulsante destro sul gruppo e "Modifica gruppo". A questo punto, se presente, togli la spunta dall'utente che vuoi togliere.
