#16 Installation

Hi

i have just downloaded the beard.tgz file and now i wanted to install the bee project. but it doesnt work. i am not really experienced with linux, but i know fopr installation of these files normally is ./configure -> make -> make install. but there is no configure file or anything else.
the readme file is not a big help in this case, because the first step is to check if installation is complete. well without installation i dont need to check it....could you please tell me how to start the application.
i have also read there is a windows installer? where can i get that?
