I'm new to BeanShell and wondered if anyone has thought about some
authentication and encryption for the remote console. if that would exist
BeanShell could be used as an administration console for produciton
i have had a short look into the code and realised that an encrypted
connection between the bsh.util.Sessiond (which gets started with the
"server(port)" command) and the JRemoteApplet could easily be done with
JSSE from Sun. Of course it should be optional (in the server() command?)
cause not everybody has JSSE installed.
authentication would be a little harder, i think one would have to hack
bsh.Interpreter and I dont know if that is desirable... If we would start
that subproject we should probably do it right and complete with different
permission levels in the Shell and so on...
What do you think about it?
