Shadow intensity or shadow size?

Hi Be::People
i want to know if possible reduce the shadow intensity or size of specific panel like top panel, i know there is a shadow-padding that works nice, but if your use a transparent panel, using shadow-padding the shadow are showing below the panel :S.

i know too there is a ShadowOpacity for config file, but i think not work because i set it to something like 10 or 1 and looks the same as 25 etc, only if i set it to 0 the shadow are disabled.

screenshot of my problem , see how the shadow are showing below the panel using negative paddings for reduce the shadow size look ugly :S
