This is a discrete simulation library with support for hybrid system simulation. It is intended to be the next generation of the adevs simulation library, which supports modeling using Zeigler's Parallel DEVS (PDEVS) representation. The bdevs library offers two interoperable modeling interfaces. The first is a simple, intuitive modeling interface that retains several of the advantages of the DEVS approach, including its natural support for simultaneity, without requiring familiarity with the more esoteric aspects of the DEVS formalism. The complete PDEVS formalism, largely as it appeared in the adevs simulation tool, is also available.
