from what i've heard, the author was planning on using
cgi scripts to enable a 'front-end' for the scanner.
I've just seen one problem concerning an attempt to use
a java interface but they encountered a problem with a
20-30 second delay in the real audio stream.
Although, it should be possible, it maybe more feasable
to 'pipe' the audio thru a /dev/dsp device and then use
a 'Remote X Terminal' rather then use a web-based applet.
I believe that when a person uses a remote session, the
program will auto pipe the audio source that the
program is using as long as the users computer has a
suitable soundcard.
