#68 Deprecate basecov files in pileup.sh
In a recent large combined metagenome assembly we found that the basecov files output by pileup.sh were often several times larger than the assembly file itself, and in the case of very large assemblies, could take up considerable disk space.
If the basecov feature of pileup.sh is deprecated, or changed to a more compact format, will that inconvenience any of the users of BBTools?
