#5 Ability to detect remote identity

One really nice feature would be to be able to infer
the visitor's identity by using finger and ident.
Unfortunately, finger's timeout is *huge*, and is
disabled everywhere nowadays and ident doesn't even
work in most cases. It's assigned a priority of 1, as a
reminder, but we definitely have other fish to fry
before attacking this.
