#3 Improved ship-placement feedback

Even if the "Allow bunched fleets" (request 1224612)
feature isn't implemented, it would be nice if the
icons updated to the type of ship gbnclient saw you
using as you place single units next to eachother.

So you click one square and it's the sailing boat.
Click the square next to it and now it's the cruiser.
Click the next and it's a battleship. Click the next
and it's a carrier.

Add to this text to the chat window saying "x <blah>, x
<blah> and x <blah> ships remaining" and I think
placing ships would be an easier experiance.
