BatCount is a free software program created in direct consultation with end-users designed to automatically count bats emerging from cave roosts.

BatCount is a standalone application from the Scientific Image Analysis (SIA) software that has been supported by the National Science Foundation Grant 1916850.

Please note BatCount v.1.24 is still in beta mode. If you experience any issues with the software, please send an error report to batcountsoftware@gmail.com with as much detail as possible explaining your issue.

Testing and the development of specific features within BatCount were funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Kentucky Natural Lands Trust, and the Nature Conservancy.
