This does not work:

Copy text in MacOS AW -> paste in OSX TextEdit

But this works:

Copy text in MacOS AW -> quit AW -> paste in OSX TextEdit

And this works:

Copy text in MacOS AW -> show the copied text on the MacOS clipboard (MacOS Finder Edit menu) -> paste in OSX TextEdit

So:
