No, actually, that would be quite easy to prevent:
Once the image file is mounted, rename it to an invisible name
("/tmp/basiliskii/.mounted-volname.dmg")
But it's not a good idea, because (as I said in the previous message)
as soon as BasiliskII crashes, the volume is effectively "lost" from
the user's point of view.
