That is true for all applications (also many of Apple's own applications) that are built for both i386 and x86_64 architectures. One can choose to run an application in either 32-bit or 64-bit mode in Finder Info for the app. With SheepShaver running in 32-bit mode, one can copy and paste text between MacOS and OSX, with limitations. I do agree, though, that working on 64-bit SheepShaver (and BasiliskII) is essential for maintaining compatibility with future OSX versions. Ronald P. Regensburg. |
