Wow. I spent a day on the Civ 2 "Eternal War" and now I have 30
messages about SS!

On the CVS issue, I think it would be kind of nice to have something
like Git's "Fork and Pull model"...

but I ALSO think that anyone who would make useful changes to BasII or
SS should be able to type "cvs diff -uN | gzip > patch.txt.gx"

Perhaps more of the development process (like this issue of submitting
improvements back upstream) should be more well-documented.
