[B2-devel] Linux + SheepShaver = extremely slow boot up...

Hi Everybody!

I compiled the cvs version of SS to see how it performs. Booting up takes
something in the order of five minutes - until it gets to the "welcome to
mac os" screen, then it runs quite quickly.

Next, I tried the RPM from the wiki (using alien to make a DEB for Ubuntu)
and the same slow boot up occurred.

Using the exact same disk image and ROM, I downloaded and installed SS to
run under Windows (via VMware) and it boots in less than 30 seconds.

Is there a known problem with the Linux version? Is there any other
information you would like me to supply?
