This might even work with early PCI PowerMac ROMs. Many places in the
68k portion of their ROMs actually check for the presence of a PowerPC
processor before doing anything specific to that architecture.

I'm not sure. The DSP stuff doesn't appear to be that much. But there seem
to be more slot declarations/drivers than usual in the 2MB ROMs.
